Bicomponent epoxy system for industrial maintenance with high resistance to abrasion
The Extreme Wear Repair System is a bicomponent and thixotropic epoxy base resin, and contains modifiers and medium silicon carbides granules, which assure a lining with very high resistance to abrasion. It was developed for high demands related to protection, maintenance, and repair of materials subject to high abrasion and corrosion. With the Gel hardener, the material becomes very thixotropic , and with the Liquid hardener, it acquires a certain fluidity, but without leakage.

The surface to be coated should be clean, sanded and preferentially dry-sandblasted to obtain a good resin adherence. On locations where the product adherence is not desired, apply two layers of demolding Z 15 LC.
The hardener is simply added to the Extreme Wear Repair Resin, them both components need to be mixed together, using a metallic spreader. For larger quantities, mechanical homogenization is recommended. It is essential to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
When the room temperature or parts temperature is below 15°C, apply a heat source to heat the parts and the resin, at a minimum temperature of 25°C. This procedure will provide the perfect resin cure and will consequently provide the maximum the system strength.
