Self-locking screw with Ecoseal® and needle tip
The Durs Stitch screws were developed for sewing metal tiles and joining thin sheets. They are manufactured with Ecoseal® coating, ensuring the higher durability in the category. Its needle tip provides a higher load to thin sheets and avoids the need of replacing the fasteners during the construction work. In addition to reducing the risks of tile corrosion, since its drilling process does not generate swarf.
Higher load guarantee on thin sheets
The higher amount of threads provides a 65% increase in the contact area of thread with sheets, resulting in a higher pull-out load on thin sheets (less than 1mm)
Avoids installation of the wrong screw
It is easy to differ the fixing screws (drill bit) and seam (needle tip), which reduces the chance of errors while installing the cover
Cover without corrosion
Due to its needle tip, its drilling process does not generate swarf, reducing the risk of tile corrosion and the cleaning time after installation as well.

Each assembly presents differences regarding the project and location of the work, making it necessary to have a unique specification for each case.
SOLUTION:
- Fixing screw: At least four fasteners per square meter (tile/shingle). Example: in a shed with a 1000m² roof, you will use 4000 Hard fasteners.
- Side sewing/closing screw: A minimum of two fasteners per linear meter at the seam (tile/tile), at the roof and side closure.
