Yes, you can. Now, It is easy to apply grout on rough coatings. You will only have to apply a release wax to both sides of the seating joint before applying your Infinity Grout. It is important that the release wax does not penetrate the joint, so always apply longitudinally. That way, in the final finishing phase, you won’t have any problems when removing the burrs.
We have a Grout Release Agent available in our Infinity range. Remember that if your coating is completely smooth, this step is not necessary.
Did you apply the Infinity Grout and there was any product left in the tube? Do not worry! You can save your grout to use again later. You will just have to take some precautions when storing your product.
After opening the material, keep the lid to close the grout later. Remember to discard the mixing nozzle after use as the Infinity Grout cures inside. Store the tube in a dry, clean environment and at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C. It is also important to keep the product away from heat sources.
As Infinity Grout cures inside the mixing nozzle, to reuse the product you need extra nozzles.
The yield of a sealant depends on the size of the expansion joint in which it will be used. To safely define the quantity of product required in your work, refer to the table below.

WHAT IS GLOBAL FM?

Each assembly presents differences as to the design and location of the work, making a unique specification necessary for each case.
The problems of the burning of the tip can be related to the following situations:
a) High rotation (tip burning): The high rotation of the equipment can cause high wear on the tip of the screw, due to the high friction index, thus generating the breaking of the cutting rod of the screw tip.
b) Two-task screw at the same time: The phase separation process can be applied in two steps at the same time (example: drilling and drilling), and can decrease the tip rotation process.
c) Very long extension: If the extension is too long it can decrease the screwdriver voltage, causing a decrease in rotation, making the drilling process difficult and generating tip burning.
d) d) Not specified drilling (tip burning): The bolt must drill the specified range of each end according to the Hard Technical Bulletin. Drilling above this range causes the tip to burn.
The possible solutions of tip burns are related to the following alternatives:
a) Use the appropriate equipment, according to Hard specification, of maximum rotation of 2500 RPM and 15Nm of wrench.
b) During the installation process, the screw must perform one operation at a time, such as:
In this way, loss of speed during the process and consequently burning of the tip is avoided.
c) Work with extensions of maximum 2 meters avoiding the loss of tension.
d) Work within the drilling range specified in the Hard Technical Bulletin, checking the comparison of: TYPE OF TIP X THICKNESS OF THICKNESS.
