Petrus Empreiteira has been operating in the Civil Construction market since 1998. Located in São Paulo/SP, it works with both residential and commercial projects.
Problem:

Therefore, they were looking for new waterproofing and grouting options to cover the work place, in order to deliver only the best to their customers. The objective was to find high-performance products that would contribute to a leap in productivity and final quality.
Solution:

1. 100% watertight bathrooms
Thewaterproofing of a bathroom is a point that requires a lot of attention in any work. Once it is a wet area, the chances of the emergence of infiltrations are very high. In this area, the client used polymeric mortar, a system that is not so resistant to the common movements of a structure and presents an inflexible application, once it is not ready for use and its curing time is long.
Searching for a more reliable system and with a more practical application, the customer started to use Flexpren Waterproofing. This solution is ready to use and has the shortest curing times between coats and final, respectively two and 24 hours. In addition to that, after application, the product forms a waterproof membrane, i.e. it is guaranteed to be extremely resistant to waterproofing.
To prove the high performance of this solution, the customer carried out a leak test. He applied the recommended two coats of Flexpren to one area and left a 40mm water depth for 40 days . During this period there was no infiltration point, proving the superior quality of the waterproofing.
To work on it, 10 cans of Flexpren were used for an area of ??35m². In the drains and sharp corners, considered critical points of any waterproofing Flexfelt Screen , was also applied, which serves as a waterproofing reinforcement. The total application time was two days.
2. Trouble-free grouting
Can you imagine carefully choosing a coating for your home, opting for a porcelain tile imported from Italy and seeing the piece being damaged because of a grout with a complicated application, such as Epoxy, for example? Horrible, isn’t it? It was precisely this situation that the company wanted to avoid, so it chose Grout Infinity to use in the bathroom and on the stairs of the penthouse.
Hard exclusivity, Grout Infinity has a super easy application, which makes all the difference in the final result of the environment. By using this solution the chances of staining a piece are nil, as excesses are easily scraped off after the product has cured. Once it is a 100% waterproof product with anti-fungal and anti-mold additives, it is ideal for wet areas such as a bathroom.
For application in an area of ??35m² on the tiles and floor of the bathrooms, 10 tubes of Grout Infinity were used in the colors Pure White and Satin Straw. For the stairs with nanoglass stone, a tube of Grout Infinity, also White Pure, was used. It is worth remembering that the performance of the Infinity Grout is directly linked to the dimensions of the coating and the size of the laying joint, it is recommended to consult the product performance table before purchase.
Conclusion:
With the right products, Petrus was able to take a leap in productivity, with faster and more effective applications. In case of grouting, with Infinity it was possible to free up the site after 10 hours of application of the product, a precious time aiming at the work schedule. Once its application does not stain the coating, damaging the imported porcelain tile was not a concern.
As for waterproofing, the use of Flexpren brought the security of a watertight application, which will not cause problems after the work has been delivered. The ease of application also counts as a positive result, which brought much more agility to this stage.
