The Stud Welding shear connectors are ideal for building mixed steel and concrete structures, especially beams and slabs. Designed according to the AWS D1.1 standard, they are widely used in metal structures for large constructions works, such as buildings, viaducts, bridges, power plants, among others. The shear connector pins work as an integration piece for semi sections of metal structures and concrete structures, for example (Steel Deck). This interaction happens because of the absorption of the shear forces resulting from this union, and the transfer of these forces to the metallic semi section.
